I GOT YOU BABE SS2023

SPRING SUMMER 2023 Ready-to-Wear

(Honey moon + Sweet sound)

Sonny & Cher were an American pop singers duo made up of husband and wife that goes back to 1960s-1970s, it was all about 2D print graphics: flower, colorful, sweet naughty girl, geometric. According to the original fashion trend in that era which people at that time were actually wearing.

We started looking into the style of Sonny & Cher but their relationships has hitted us a new impact too because we always and want to represent a young sweetheart couple with an innocent attitude and their love, songs, lyrics was just right for this Landmee SS23 collection so we decided to named this collection after the their song title called   “I GOT YOU BABE”

As the first sketch finished, we began to work on materials & technique eventually we all agreed with “crochet” and some certain shape geometric, flower, heart and certain palette color which is SS23 color; yellow, Pink, green, purple etc trend but still blends perfectly cute with Landmee’s DNA. The details whether buckles, buttons, print, were supported with an intricate lace elegantly. And then there were accessories; shoes, bags. We had mashed up key pieces as flower and trend color but reformed the original silhouette into more Landmee style and more contemporary. For this summer season brought up Linen to match with the Landmee signature outfit. Here it resulted in a collection of the i got you babe, practical, Linen overall with geometric shape buckle, full sleeves 2D floral print with heart shape pocket, symmetry crochet handcraft flower. There was also pure fun 60s color but we cut those sweetness of some look by using monochrome color black, white instead to make the look more contemporary. The sense of cultural depth in this collection is not over yet, we had made swimsuit and beach gear to go with our main outfit to emphasize the summer of the 60s-70s era where people went sunbathing together, drinking ice lemonade and dress up for competitions.

One another note, Landmee didn’t forget to leave the DNA but adapt over time to go along with the new generation.
